Guilds[]

Patch V62 introduced 3 New Guilds to the game: The Mining Guild in the south west, the Fishing Guild in what was previously known as Cadgwith (now Salmo), and the Woodcutting guild to the North East. Each town is now under the control of a Guild, against the wishes of the Emperor of Eloria who will try and raid a guild every 8 hours.

Control[]

From Carson on Discord:

A invasion can start in one of two cases. Either the emperor respawns from previously being beaten, OR the emperor has completed taking over a previous guild and held it for long enough that it is brought down to tier -5, at which point he will move on and tp to the next guild to invade.

When a invasion begins, the emperor, along with his invasion squad of NPCs, spawns outside of a guild. Each guild has 3 possible spawn locations. The emperor & team slowly follows a path leading to the Guild Master building, where the guild master & guards spawned previously.

If there are barriers (player-earned during tiers 2 and 4), the emperors' NPCs will have to fight through these barriers, buying the guild time to defend.

The invasion squad members do not respawn, therefore you can help successfully fight off a invasion by taking out the weakest members of the squad. On top of that, guild guards do respawn, so buying time is a valid strategy to keep them from killing your guild master while you let guards keep respawning to fight the emperor off.

The invasion ends by one of 3 NPCs being killed: The Emperor, or The Guild Master. If the Guild Master falls, the emperor invaded successfully. If the emperor falls, he and his team teleport to safety, and every Emperor owned guild in the world is freed. Once the emperor falls, he goes on a respawn timer of 5 days.

Once the emperor is in charge of a guild, it flips to tier -1. Guards spawned in the guild become Emperor Guards, rather than Guild Guards. Each tier lower the emperor lowers it, the more stronger Emperor Guards spawn and various other inconveniences occur, such as high taxation.

If you kill a "General", you free the guild that general was stationed in. If you kill the "Emperor", you free ALL the guilds the emperor is in control of
